About the architect...Bob Moore has been practicing architecture in the Pacific Northwest since 1985, establishing his studio on Bainbridge Island in 1994. His varied practice has been devoted exclusively to the full range of residential design, from small remodel projects to large estates. The work is typically characterized by a casual northwest elegance, with client service and satisfaction always a top priority. As a Certified Passive House Consultant, Bob is taking seriously the need to design highly energy-efficient homes to the German Passive House Standard - the world's most rigorous standard for energy-efficient construction. Residence One:A new residence located in Medina, WA for a professional couple and their daughter. Included on this estate are separate designs for a large woodworking shop and a yoga studio. |

Residence Two:A new residence located on the south end of Bainbridge Island with a panoramic view of Puget Sound. Designed for a retired couple with multiple guest room accommodations for frequent visits by extended family and friends. |

Residence Three:A new waterfront residence on the west side of Bainbridge Island for a family of seven. The bedrooms above the 3-car garage were designed for a future conversion into a separate apartment unit. |

Residence Four:A new waterfront residence at the entrance to Port Madison Bay on Bainbridge Island. Designed originally for a bachelor, it is now a family residence. |

Residence Five:A new waterfront residence located on Skunk Bay in Hansville, Washington. Designed for a retired couple (the second residence I have designed for them), it features views of Whidbey Island and the Cascade Mountains to the east. |

Residence Six:A major remodel and addition to an existing 1920's waterfront residence located in Seattle. This family residence was almost completely torn down to the existing basement level and rebuilt. |

Residence Seven:A major remodel and addition to an existing waterfront vacation home located on the Hood Canal. The interior of the house was completely renovated, new windows and doors installed, and a new rec room, master bath and outdoor pool added. |

Residence Eight:A new waterfront residence located on the west side of Bainbridge Island. An old foundation of a former residence was incorporated in the the overall design to construct a guest house. The 3-story residence is equipped with an elevator. |
